1. Stone plate commemorating the battle fought on the Marmolada, the Queen of the Dolomites. Aversa and I spent the morning hiking along the trails of the first world war, and visiting the museam and learning all about the underground ice city, seeing the many artifacts, and entering into the experience of the battles on this particular mountain.
2. First year novitiate picture after reaching the summit of Lagazuoi.
3. Matteo Corbelli in front of a wild cow. There were five wild cows along the trail we hiked with don Massimo. It was a lot of fun to have them as companions along the trail. We were a little nervous at times especially when they started stampeding of the direction of don Massimo.
4. Don Massimo, Umberto, and Matteo Invernizzi, leading us into the wilderness in the Dolomite mountains.
