1. Umberto binded with his carabineers to the iron cords that ran the major part of the mountain, Le Tofane. We climbed for close to three hours, going up from 2200meters to the summit 3100meters, and having to hurry since with the oncoming threat of thunder and lightning. Each of us had a v-shaped rope apparatus connected to the front of our harness which gave us two 3feet long ropes to clip into the mountain.
